To go above and beyond, and exceed all customer expectations to provide you the best rod buying experience possible We want to go out of our way to introduce to you to what we truly believe in.
YOUR passion, is OUR passion.
To have pride in our work that will bring you the superior level of quality and craftsmanship in the design and build of Prolite rods. To grow as a company and personally. To teach and educate all skill levels of fisherman, to enrich the sportfishing industry.
We have used our years of experience and professional fishing in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, to develop rods to help you hook and land more fish. We will offer the best product, the best customer service, and the best price. To better service the industry, we will do our best to teach and educate every level of fisherman. There's an old saying that if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, and if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for life. At Prolite, we don't just want to teach him how to catch a fish, we also want to educate him about the art and science of fishing. We want to get you the perfect rod to fit your every need in any situation. Working with you and building a personal relationship is important to us.
Why Choose Prolite Rods over the "others"? As a customer, this a question we make every company answer. While we are searching for a product, we think about what we have learned from others, read on the internet, or experienced. We end up asking yourselves questions like:
Why this product?
Why this brand?
Why this company?
In the end, the real question we ask is... Do I trust this company?
Its so true! The question we always ask ourselves is whether we trust the company and the product they are offering. At some point, there will be companies that earn our trust. Prolite Rod Technology may not earn your trust over night, but our hope is that after seeing the passion and excitement that we build into every rod, and after experiencing great customer service, that we will begin to earn your trust and you can be confident in your Prolite products. Trust is based on the experience and if we can deliver positive experiences then the trust level grows. This goes for both the experience of both the products and the customer service.
“Trust can take years to build, and seconds to break.”
It’s not your job to give a company your trust, they’ve got to earn it. We strive to have the best customer service with superior quality showing the pride we have in our craftsmanship.
Prolite is dedicated to building rods with the least amount of weight possible. For example, our guide layouts use more, smaller guides which dramatically reduces the overall weight of a rod. Less weight on the end of the rod allows it to more effectively transfer vibrations without being dampened, creating more sensitivity and better balanced feel.
Our manufacturing facility is located in Tumwater, WA. This is where we hand-build every Prolite Rod.
