NORTHWEST STYLE

The NW Style is Prolite’s modern expression of the classic Canadian mooching rod — purpose-built for salmon anglers who fish with centerpin trolling reels like the Islander MR3 or TR3. This build blends heritage and innovation, offering the unmistakable feel of a traditional rod with upgraded components designed to perform.

At the heart of the NW Style is its spey-inspired cork grip, giving it the familiar comfort and balance of a classic salmon rod. Paired with a custom aluminum reel seat and matching aluminum fighting butt, the build delivers modern functionality without compromising feel. The 6.5" rear grip, available in carbon fiber or X-Flock, offers a compact, responsive connection — whether you’re running a downrigger or fighting fish by hand.
