Prolite Craftsmanship Warranty

Prolite Rod Technology stands behind the quality of our rods. We warrant our rod builds against defects in materials and workmanship related to the build and assembly work we perform under normal fishing use.

What This Covers

  • Defects in build, assembly, and workmanship
  • Guide installation failures caused by construction defects
  • Bonding failures (such as reel seats or handles) caused by construction defects
  • Other failures directly attributable to Prolite build workmanship

What This Does Not Cover

  • Accidental damage or impact damage
  • Misuse or abuse
  • High-sticking or excessive loading beyond the rod’s intended rating
  • Damage during transport, storage, or improper handling
  • Use outside the rod’s intended rating or application
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear, finish wear, cosmetic changes, or finish aging

Manufacturer Warranties

Rod blanks and many components are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties. Prolite-branded blanks are covered for one year from the date of purchase.

Warranty Determination

All warranty determinations are made at the sole discretion of Prolite Rod Technology. If a defect is confirmed, Prolite will repair or replace the product at its discretion. If a model or component is discontinued, an equivalent product may be substituted.

Warranty and Repair Process

Submit the form below with a clear description and photos. Please include your approximate purchase date. If an evaluation requires return shipping, customers are responsible for shipping the rod to Prolite.


Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the product. Prolite is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, high-sticking, transport damage, unauthorized modification, or normal wear.
