Custom Builder

This is where you tell us exactly what you want in a Prolite custom rod. Fill out as much as you can and we will follow up to confirm details, pricing, and timing before anything moves into the build queue.

If you are not sure on every spec, that is fine. Answer what you can and use the notes section to describe how you fish and what you want the rod to do.

How This Page Works

  1. Fill out the form below with your contact info and build details.
  2. Tell us how and where you fish so we can recommend the right blank and components if needed.
  3. We review your request, confirm parts and availability, and reach out with any questions.
  4. You receive a clear quote and invoice for parts and labor before we start the build.
  5. Once your invoice is paid, your rod goes into the Prolite build queue.

The more information you give us here, the faster we can move from ideas to an actual build on the bench. If something is unknown, leave it blank and explain what you are trying to accomplish in the notes.

Custom Rod Build Request Form

Use this form for detailed custom builds. If you only want a quick call back, you can skip this page and just send us your name and number from the How to Order page.

What Information Helps Us Most

  • Target species and typical water: rivers, lakes, salt, big water, small creeks.
  • Primary technique: trolling, drifting, float fishing, jigging, casting, vertical, or multi purpose.
  • Line and weight range you like to run.
  • Preferred rod length, power, and action if you know them.
  • Handle style and grip material you like: split or full, rear grip length, foregrip preference.
  • Any existing rod you love and want us to match or improve.
  • Left or right hand preferences for reel seat and trigger feel if it matters for your setup.

If you are unsure on any of this, just describe how you fish and what you want the rod to feel like when it loads up on a good fish. We will help fill in the details and make sure the blank and components match your style.

What Happens After You Submit

  1. We review your request and may reach out with follow up questions if anything needs to be clarified.
  2. We confirm the blank and components, check current availability, and put together your final build plan.
  3. You receive pricing and an invoice by email for parts and labor.
  4. Once payment is received, we schedule your rod into the Prolite build queue.
  5. When the rod is complete, we contact you for pickup or ship it in a secure tube to your door.

If you prefer to talk it through first, visit the How to Order page and just send us your name and phone number. We are happy to design it together before anything is committed to a build.

Prefer to Call Us Instead?

If you’d rather talk through your build before filling out the form, that’s no problem. Many custom rods start with a quick conversation about how you fish and what you want the rod to do.
