A forgiving long-rod load you can fish all day
Select X is the forgiving build in the steelhead lineup — softer through the tip, deeper through the load. It protects light fluorocarbon, cushions head-shakes that pull hooks on stiffer rods, and still has the lower-section power to turn a hot steelhead before it reaches a logjam.
