The TR3 is Islander's Pacific Northwest salmon reel — machined, anodized and hand-assembled on Vancouver Island from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum. It holds 350 yards of 30# mono with no backing, runs a fully sealed multi-layer disk drag, and turns on 100% ceramic bearings that will not rust in salt. Retrieve is interchangeable, so it sets up left or right hand.

About these reels
These six came to us as factory cosmetic seconds. Each has a small surface blemish in the anodizing — the kind of mark you have to look for, and one you will stop noticing the first morning you fish it. Mechanically they are new and untouched: same drag, same bearings, same tolerances, same original box, and the same fully transferable Islander limited lifetime warranty as any TR3 on the shelf.
We would rather tell you up front than have you find it yourself. If a flawless finish matters to you, this isn't the reel, and we'll say so. If you bought it to fish, it's the same reel at the same price — and it's the last teal you'll see.
